    Purpose:

    The Manager of Professional Education (MPE) is an EdTech consultant-type role, responsible for working closely with their regional commercial business leaders (AVP, Distributors, Marketing, etc.) and field partners (Sales Representatives, VELYS sales team, VELYS clinical team, etc.) to identify customer (HCP) education needs and design / propose / organize/ and execute training experiences that meet the identified needs. The MPE role assures that we compliantly deliver the right type of education to the right customer. The end goal is to train HCPs on the safe and efficacious use of our products while reducing time to mastery and facilitating adoption. This MPE role posting is aligned to the Joint Reconstruction and VELYS platform in the geographical area of the US Southeast (FL, GA, NC, SC, TN, AL, MS).

    Responsibilities include:

    In accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:

    • Works closely with their area AVP as a consultant to bridge HCP learning needs to solutions
    • Is responsible for the successful planning and execution of Joint Recon and VELYS Professional Education programs for external healthcare professionals.
    • Manages their regional Prof Ed budget and appropriates resources for the efficient and effective delivery of world-class Professional Education programs.
    • Is responsible for driving alignment amongst commercial partners and EdTech in planning and execution of regional events.
    • Responsible for translating regional education data into insights and reporting back to AVP on trends and opportunities
    • Considers the full education continuum of programming that may meet education needs and designs an experience that utilizes a 360 holistic customer education experience. This may include the use of simulated learning experiences, labs, preceptorships, CEVs, proctorships, peer to peer connects, etc.
    • Ensures proper processes are followed including event reconciliation and close out.
    • Ensures all programs are compliant with all legal, regulatory and HCC policies including Advamed, Pharma, ACCME and other global legal and regulatory bodies.
    • Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level
    • Responsible for following all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices as applicable.
    • Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures
    • Performs other duties assigned as needed

    Experience and Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • 4-5 years of medical device experience
    • Strong educational expertise to identify needs and design educational solutions
    • MS Office proficiency
    • Willingness to travel up to 30%

    The anticipated base pay range for this position is $100,000 to $172,500.

    The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.

    • Vacation – up to 120 hours per calendar year

    • Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year
    • Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
