    Auris is a technology company defining the future of medical intervention.     OVERVIEW

     

    As a Manufacturing Engineering Intern, you get to help build sophisticated robotic sub-systems working with outstanding engineers. This is a hands-on role where the candidate will wear several hats assisting with anything from building the manufacturing line infrastructure, specifying capital assembly equipment, the design and detail of intricate assembly fixtures, to interacting with potential vendors/suppliers. This position will work with all teams assisting where needed providing a unique experience where every day brings new and different challenges and opportunities.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Currently pursuing a BS Engineering in Manufacturing, Mechanical or other applicable technical degree (MS in Engineering preferred)
    • Proven hands-on experience
    • Knowledge in Manufacturing engineering, Mechanical engineering
    • Must be able to understand and modify Manufacturing Process Instructions (MPI)
    • Must be able to understand mechanical drawings
    • Working knowledge of GD&T preferred
    • Experience partitioning and decomposing complex engineering problems into solvable problems
    • Understanding of engineering concepts such as lean manufacturing
    • Hands-on experience with robotic systems preferred
    • CAD software (SolidWorks) experience required
    • Requires excellent organization and time management skills
    • Ability to work independently or with little supervision
    • Ability to manage priorities on multiple tasks
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to work in a regulated environment in compliance with ISO 13485 and 21 CFR 820
