Join us and you may end up staying for a career in which you can do your life's best work.(sm) The Marketing Intern, Marketing Services is responsible for supporting the Marketing and Creative Services teams. This role supports a team of multimedia designers, project specialists and a communications specialist. The Marketing Intern focuses on providing support, insight and opportunities through communications, corporate events, design materials, trade shows, myLink, and project flow. Works closely with all members of Marketing, UX and outside vendors.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Perform a variety of marketing duties in the following areas: administrative support; communications; events and event logistics; social media support; and customer service / problem resolution
    • Provide support for the Marketing Services team in the organization, planning and execution of corporate and sponsored events throughout the year
    • Coordinate special event efforts such as: social media; resolving attendee issues; logistics of tickets / distribution; organizing and liasing with special guests and groups; and supporting sponsor relationships
    • Conduct / utilize market research and competitive analyses to drive understanding of business requirements and development of marketing strategy
    • Develop and implement marketing campaign tactics (project plans, budgets, execution) and develop / revise plans for future initiatives / campaigns based on analysis of results / outcomes from previous initiative
    • Identify and leverage appropriate marketing channels to communicate marketing messages
    • Other duties as assigned

  • Qualifications

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field. Internships are not intended for graduating seniors.
    • Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA
    • Demonstrated knowledge of marketing, communications and social media skills
    • Proficient in MS Office tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
    • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization (F-1 students with practical training and candidates requiring H-1Bs, TNs, etc. will not be considered

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Detail-oriented and organized
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
    • Strong time management skills and sound judgment
