Nomad is looking for a highly analytical and experienced Marketing Manager to join the Marketing team. You'll report to the VP of Marketing and be the key clinician acquisition player on our team. You will create, analyze, and optimize all of our paid digital marketing campaigns to acquire new clinicians and optimize acquisition metrics such as cost per application, conversion rates, and ROI by channel. This is a highly technical, strategic and creative role that will be in charge of not only growing our doctor and nurse user base across existing channels, but also launching new acquisition channels and SEO strategies for Nomad. This includes exploring digital acquisition of medical employers as well.
Responsibilities:
- Paid Digital Marketing Acquisition: Be the key owner of all digital acquisition campaigns across channels, including paid search engine marketing and paid social media.
- Create and iterate new engaging advertisements across Google, Facebook, Yahoo, LinkedIn, and more, all of which drive actively searching clinicians and employers to Nomad.
- Job Board Acquisition: Manage and optimize all free and sponsored Nomad job posts on external clinician job boards, including clinical career centers, Indeed, and LinkedIn.
- Search Engine Optimization: Drive our organic search traffic growth by overseeing SEO-optimized content creation and link building.
- Reporting & Forecasting: Develop weekly acquisition reporting for the full funnel across all channels. Create reports that drive actionable insights and clarity for the team.
- Acquisition Diversification: Explore new acquisition channels and
partnerships that will attract highly active doctors, nurses, and medical employers to Nomad.
- Website Optimization: Work closely with the Product team to identify opportunities to improve landing pages, registration, and on-boarding to drive up conversion rates.
- Referral Optimization: Help launch and manage the Nomad referral program by developing tools to help them drive referrals and earn rewards.
- Vendor Partnerships: Work successfully with external agencies and
consultants to manage our acquisition campaigns and SEO strategies.-

How will you get started at Nomad?
In your first six weeks at Nomad you will:
- Gain a deep understanding of the Nomad Health brand, marketing strategy, and end-to-end product experience
- Develop a deep familiarity with doctor, nursing, and medical employer audiences, understanding what motivates them to engage with Nomad
- Study our competition (traditional staffing agencies) and their marketing techniques
- Conduct an audit of all our existing acquisition channels and examine the effectiveness of each at driving key KPIs
- Identify areas of opportunity for new acquisition tactics across all digital marketing and offline marketing channels
- Map out the near term digital acquisition strategy for clinicians and medical employers across channels
In your first six months at Nomad you will:
- Manage and optimize all digital acquisition campaigns for clinicians and medical employers across all channels, including Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, and more
- Create and execute data-driven, creative new marketing campaigns in existing and new channels that diversify our sources and build brand awareness of Nomad nationwide
- Partner successfully with external agencies and consultants to improve paid and organic search traffic results, and oversee the implementation of smart SEO practices
- Develop new weekly reporting and insights for all acquisition metrics, including CPAs by campaign, number of new users registered, MAUs, number of jobs viewed, and number of applications driven.
