    Cardiovascular Technician City Phoenix State Arizona Telecommute No Department Cardiovascular Medicine Position description The Cardiovascular Technician performs diagnostic procedures that include exercise stress testing, 24-hour ambulatory electrocardiography, non-invasive vascular testing, and electrocardiogram editing. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development of the life span. The ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and appropriately interpret information relative to the patient's age-specific needs is required. Qualifications Requires HS diploma or G.E.D. Basic Life Support required upon hire. Note: Internal applicants are required to attach their 3 most recent performance appraisals. Additional qualifications ECG experience within the past 12 months strongly preferred. Stress testing strongly preferred. Graduation from a cardiovascular technician, certified nursing assistant, or medical assistant program preferred. Availability to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends. Ability to adapt to unpredictable situations within the patient care setting. Strong computer skills preferred. License or certification Basic Life Support certification is required upon hire and must be valid for 90 days or greater from start date. Maintains Basic Life Support (BLS) competency. Exemption status Non-exempt Compensation Detail Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum pay rate is $18.03 per hour. Benefits eligible Yes Schedule Part Time Hours / Pay period 60 Schedule details Monday through Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm. Rotating call shifts on Saturday from 7:30 am - 4:00 pm and holidays. Occasional evening shifts 2:00 pm - midnight. Weekend schedule Rotating weekends as necessary.
