    Student Nurse Intern City La Crosse State Wisconsin Telecommute No Department Nursing Position description The Student Nurse Intern (SNI) performs delegated tasks of direct and indirect patient care with the supervision of a registered nurse under Sec. N6.03(3), Wisconsin Administration code. The designated tasks are those which have been taught in the academic prgrams and/or orientation, and where the individual has demonstrated competence to a designated RN. By June 4th, 2018, applicants must have successfully completed one of the following: * The Junior Year of an accredited baccalaureate nursing program, as recognized by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN- formerly NLN) or Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). or completion of adult process and two semesters of an accredited ADN program in good standing.. MUST BE ABLE TO COMPLETE TEN CONSECUTIVE WEEKS OF EMPLOYMENT. Current in basic life support (BCLS) from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association (must not expire between June 2018 - August 2018). Additional qualifications Basic Life Support (BLS)/Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certification. Applicants must attach a scanned copy of the certificate of completion or copy of card including your full name to your profile to be considered. We will only accept certificates of course completion from the following providers: - American Heart Association (Title: BLS for Healthcare Providers) - Red Cross (Title: CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and Health Care Providers OR BLS for Healthcare Providers) - Military Training NetworkRESUME.
