About the Role:

Sayre Health Center in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a passionate and experienced Medical Director to lead our clinical team and drive excellence in patient care. Responsibilities:

Provide clinical leadership and oversight of all medical staff, providers, and care delivery operations

Develop, implement, and monitor clinical policies, protocols, and quality improvement initiatives

Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, accreditation requirements, and best practices in primary care

Collaborate with administrative leadership on strategic planning, budgeting, and operational goals

Mentor, recruit, and evaluate physicians, nurse practitioners, and other clinical staff

Maintain a patient panel and provide direct patient care as part of the clinical team

Lead efforts in population health management, chronic disease management, and preventive care

Requirements:

MD or DO degree with board certification in a primary care specialty (Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or related field)

Active and unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license

Minimum 3–5 years of clinical leadership or medical director experience, preferably in a FQHC or community health setting

Strong knowledge of value-based care, quality metrics, and PCMH standards

Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop multidisciplinary clinical teams

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Commitment to serving diverse and underserved patient populations
