Recreation activities include, but not limited to arts and crafts, dance, drama, music, low organized games, table and board games, sports and athletics, special events, outdoor activities and volunteer programsCoordinate therapeutic recreation services for Traumatic Stress and Brain Injury (TSBI) patients and their families throughout the facility, insuring that the purpose and goals of the Occupational Therapy Section are carried outDevelop and implement individual recreation programs based on assessment resultsProvide teaching, coaching, and support as required on a time limited basisFacilitate integration into community recreational opportunitiesRe-evaluate recreational activities on a regular basis as part of the overall Community Support and Rehabilitation Plan Review in coordination with other Traumatic Stress and Brain Injury Program staff Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in therapeutic recreation or recreational therapy from an accredited college or university.Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart AssociationCurrent certification as a Recreational Therapist from the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification (NCTRC)One year of experience as a Recreational Therapist after graduation.MedTrust LLC is an Equal Opportunity EmployerOptions
