Corporate Wellness Consultant Medulla 16 reviews - Chicago, IL 60601 Job Description At Medulla LLC, our Corporate Wellness Consultant (CWC) is an expert in assessing the health and wellness needs of corporations, businesses and organizations; while providing them with solutions to both measure and address their employee healthcare concerns. In this role, you will work directly with brokers, employers and key human resource personnel to develop and execute corporate health fairs, workshops and employee appreciation events that support the overall health of employees and fiscal health of the organization. The CWC role is responsible for acquiring leads through prospecting, qualified lists, organic growth and relationships; assessing organizational health and wellness needs with qualified candidates; then providing our suite of services with A-list partners to execute events that measure and address discovered healthcare needs. The services provided increase individual health metrics and drive down organizational heath care expenditures. Job Responsibilities * Enhances employer and employee health awareness and promotes new initiatives by implementing a variety of health and wellness programs that meet the requirements of a diverse workforce in addressing the changing healthcare needs of employees * Analyzes client health challenges using all available internal healthcare data such as health assessment results, claims utilization data, employee survey data, and other data as appropriate to create wellness programs or initiatives that meet the clients needs, goals, and budget * Translates identified health needs of the clients employee population into creative, high-energy, high visibility solutions that improve employee engagement, health and productivity and reduce the clients healthcare and workers compensation costs * Develops, implements and maintains health promotion/wellness programs and events by benchmarking successful external programs and staying current with best practices to drive continuous improvement of employee health and decrease employer costs on a year over year basis * Plans and coordinates annual company-wide health and safety fair, health screen assessments, biometric screenings (as applicable), and other mental and financial programs targeted in the clients health and wellness strategy
