    **Rogers Behavioral Health, a nationally recognized leader in behavioral health services, is seeking an Music Therapist to join our team!

    **

    The Music Therapist develops, plans, implements, facilitates, directs and evaluates Experiential Therapy programming in all specialized treatment areas. In this role, you need to be knowledgeable, skillful and have abilities in a wide variety of expressive media and have a working knowledge of a psychosocial functioning of patient/resident groups as well as application of expressive activities within a psychiatric setting. These include, but are not limited to, adventure-based and environmental activities, sports, dance, group initiatives, arts/crafts, music, outdoor activities, art media, psychodrama, ropes and challenge course.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree or higher in music therapy or a master’s degree in dance or movement therapy from colleges and university programs approved by the American Dance Movement Therapist Association (ADTA) and Music or Dance Activity Therapist registration with the state of WI (DHS 61.75) is required.
    • This job requires you to have a Valid Wisconsin Driver's License.
    • Must pass pre-employment background and drug screen.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT:

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to all elements that exist in a warehouse environment.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
