    The Pharmacy Automation, Informatics and Supply Chain Manager provides leadership focused on design, development, implementation and performance improvement of pharmacy information technology (IT) and automation systems throughout the organization. Manages supply chain by optimizing use of information systems, pharmacy automation and IT. Collaborates with pharmacy managers, pharmacy team, and other healthcare professionals to create and maintain an efficient and safe medication use system and supply chain. Ensures that pharmacy automation and IT systems support departmental and organizational goals and regulatory requirements.

    Required Skills

    Minimum Requirements

     

    • Pharmacy Degree (Bachelor’s or Doctor of Pharmacy)
    • Missouri Board of Pharmacy pharmacist license with Medication Therapy Services (MTS) designation in good standing
    • Completion of TMC Medical Staff Credentialing and Privileging process
    • Three years as a hospital pharmacist, or equivalent experience

     

    Preferred Qualifications

     

    • Doctor of Pharmacy degree
    • Advanced degree in health care management, such as an MS, MHA, or MBA
    • Completion of an ASHP-Accredited PGY1 Residency
    • Completion of an ASHP-Accredited PGY2 Residency
    • Board certification through the Board of Pharmacy Specialties
    • Ability to direct and manage a pharmacy residency (e.g. previous involvement as a preceptor in an ASHP-accredited residency program, management experience, previous experience as a course coordinator)
