Compassionate Caregiver – Memory Care (Alzheimer's & Dementia Experience Preferred)
Job Description:
We are seeking compassionate and dependable caregivers to support clients living with Alzheimer's, dementia, and other memory-related conditions. The ideal candidate understands the unique challenges of memory loss and provides patient, structured, and reassuring care that promotes safety, dignity, and quality of life.
Whether you're experienced or looking to grow in this field, we are willing to train the right candidates with paid training provided.
This role focuses on creating a calm, supportive environment while assisting with daily activities and building meaningful connections with clients and their families.
Provide personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting)
Assist with mobility, redirection, and safety supervision
Offer companionship and emotional reassurance
Support memory care routines and structured daily activities
Monitor changes in behavior or condition and communicate with family or care team
Assist with medication reminders as directed
Light housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry
Maintain a safe, calm, and positive environment
Experience with Alzheimer's, dementia, or memory care preferred (not required)
Willingness to learn and participate in paid training
Compassionate, patient, and understanding approach
Ability to manage confusion, redirection, and behavioral changes
Reliable transportation and punctuality
CPR/First Aid certification preferred (not required)
