Internship - Facilitator Mental Health Systems, Inc. 75 reviews - Concord, CA 94520 Internship ABOUT US Our MHS Contra Costa Wraparound Services Program will provide intensive, coordinated, and community-based services to 29 unduplicated eligible referred children, youth, their families, and caregivers annually. Those referred will follow a four-stage model of Engagement, Planning, Implementation, and Transition as they work toward permanence, safety and well-being resulting in the least restrictive placements for at-risk and vulnerable children and youth. Services will be provided by a team including Facilitators, Wrap Coaches, Family Support Specialists and graduate student interns. Mental Health Systems, Inc. INTERNSHIP DESCRIPTION The Intern Wraparound Facilitator performs a range of psychotherapeutic and rehabilitative interventions that a Facilitator would be responsible for, including psychosocial assessment, individual and group counseling, crisis intervention and limited case management duties for clients under the supervision of staff. The range of authority and decision making for this position is limited to and consistent with MHS policy for Intern/Volunteer staff, and the Board of Behavioral Sciences policies and procedures for internship placement.
