Responsibilities and Qualifications Responsibilities:Under the direction of the leader assigned to Staffing, the Staffing /Bed Management Coordinator provides balanced staffing patterns for the inpatient units based on acuity, census and unit activities. Registers patients as needed, places the patient in a bed per the direction of the charge nurse or designee.Qualifications:Because youre committed to excellence, you understand the importance of being properly prepared for your role at Mercy. Thats why youll bring to your role the right set of qualifications: Education: High School or equivalent, Business School or College helpful. Experience: 1-3 years clerical experience required. Other: Basic computer skills necessary. Typing 50 wpm, professional verbal and written communication skills, medical terminology and some medical insurance knowledge required.
