The Quality Assurance Analyst will be responsible for supporting the planning, design and execution of the Point of Sale system testing. The QA Analyst works collaboratively within the IT department and with business partners to execute and validate test cases based upon system requirements. Daily activities will include, but will not be limited to: * Develop test plans, test cases and test scripts for multiple projects * Execute all appropriate testing types (Smoke, SIT, E2E, Regression, UAT) * Perform testing across multiple software and hardware platforms * Validate the user expectations are achieved during the testing process * Review business requirements * Identify and assess issues and opportunities based on field, vendor and business feedback * Support business in User Acceptance Testing activities * Track and follow up on issues , driving for resolution * Issue regular progress reports on assigned deliverables Qualified candidates must: * Understand all facets of Point of Sale system, communications, data movement and store back office processes * Innovate, provide solutions, and develop best practices to evolve operational processes to ensure optimal efficiency * Be willing to grow and learn within the organization to develop a full understanding of the business processes, taking on new challenges as presented * Be able to work independently, multi-task and manage time to complete project activities according to targeted deadlines Education and Experiences: * 2 Years experience supporting Point of Sale applications * 2-3 years of QA Analyst experience using Aptos systems * Strong organizational and time management skills * Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, with a variety of people who have different skill levels of technical competence * Ability to work with all levels of the organization and with vendor partners * Strong PC skills Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Project and Excel) * Experience with JIRA and Confluence are a plus * Minimal travel * Bachelor's degree in IT or related functional business area or combination of course work/job experience We are an Equal Opportunity Employer M/D/F/V 3 hours ago - save job - original job Apply On Company Site Other jobs you may like Quality System Associate, Ridgefield, New Jer...
