RN IV - Infusion Suite Department Infusion Suite Schedule Per diem Shift Days Hours days of the week and hours vary, as needed weekends, occasional holidays Statement of Purpose: The Registered Nurse working in the Infusion Suite provides and /or coordinates the outpatient care of patients. He/she participates in both patient and staff education related to ambulatory care and infusion therapy. The Infusion nurse maintains standards for professional nursing practice and assists in implementing policies and procedures related to outpatient care and IV care, utilizing guidelines established by the Intravenous Nursing Society and departmental policies. Qualifications: Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Certification / License: Current RN Licensure in Massachusetts, current CPR skills Experience: Must have a minimum of one year of IV experience.
