SUMMARY

The Scrub Technician scrubs and assists the surgeons during invasive surgical procedures.  Responsible for management of the sterile field.  Assists Central Supply with maintaining, cleaning and reprocessing of instruments.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

        One-year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or

            Equivalent combination of education and experience.

            Graduate of Operating Room Technician School.

            Preferred six months experience.

            CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

            Current CPR certificate.
