Regular Full-Time Pay Grade 17 JOB SUMMARY This position is primarily
responsible for actively monitoring court participants outside of the
wellness court setting including conducting home and job visits. All
client contact is documented and visits logged to help encourage
positive participant behavior. Develops effective measures for drug
testing and supervision compliance reporting that provide the Wellness
Court team with sufficient and timely information to implement
incentives and sanction systems. Coordinates the utilization of
community-based services such as health and mental health services,
victims services, housing, entitlements, transportation, education,
vocational training, job skills training and placement to provide a
strong foundation for recovery. Develops post-program services, such as
Mentor programs and Alumni Associations. MAJOR TASKS AND
RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Attends all Wellness Court hearings and Wellness
Court team meetings. 2. Provides coordinated and comprehensive
supervision of Wellness Court participants. 3. Monitor the day-to-day
case management operations of Wellness Court clients, to ensure service
provision is conducted in a timely and effective manner. 4. Supervising
clients on probation or parole. 5. Maintains up-to-date record of
participants performance and provides progress reports/recommendations
to the Wellness Court team. 6. Prepares status reports as requested for
members of the Wellness Court for Tribal Court Hearings. 7. Serve as the
lead for Wellness Court client case staffing and attend regular court
hearings when needed. 8. Maintain and update Wellness Court
services/referral manual. 9. Maintain and update Wellness Court cultural
support groups and activities. 10. Advocates for prompt incentives and
sanctions in response to client behavior. 11. Coordinates continuum of
care through regular contact with treatment providers. 12. Design and
implement effective drug testing protocols. 13. Collaborate and work
with Probation and law enforcement. 14. Develops post-program services
for participants who successfully complete the Wellness Court program.

or may not be related to their regular responsibilities. EDUCATION -
EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING FOR POSITION Required: * Bachelors Degree with a
preference in the Behavioral Sciences or related field from an
accredited college or university * Two (2) years of relevant criminal
justice, social work, and/or college internship related experience. *
Two (2) years supervising clients on probation or parole; or managing a
case load in a social services environment. SPECIFIC

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Will frequently stand, walk, balance, bend,
crouch, reach, twist, pull/push, and use manual dexterity. Will
continuously speak, hear, and use vision. Will work indoors
continuously. Will occasionally sit, lift, carry, climb, kneel, crawl,
reach, and grasp. Will occasionally work with excessive noise and be
exposed to weather. Licenses or Certifications Required A valid
Washington State drivers license is required at the time of appointment
or at a time set by the Tribe.
