In this role, the Wound, Ostomy Care Specialist is responsible for delivery of patient care and consultations for patients with wounds, and ostomies through the use of the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Wound, Ostomy Care Specialist will also directs guides and teaches Nursing and ancillary personnel to maintain standards of care set by the organization for the management of skin integrity and ostomy care. REQUIREMENTS: * BSN required, Master's in Nursing or related field preferred. * New York State Registered Nurse License is required * 3+ years of Med/Surg. experience as a Registered Nurse is required * 3+ years of experience in wound, ostomy and continence management preferred
