ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Register and/or schedule appointments for patients, courteously, confidentially, efficiently and at the same time secure accurate and complete financial information as required. Required to interact with various departments, medical staff and patients families in a professional and courteous manner. Must have knowledge regarding all 3rd party payers, including accurate selection of financial class, insurance plan codes and associated information. REQUIREMENTS : High school diploma or equivalency required. Minimum of two years registrar related experience required. Minimum of three years experience within an Orthopedic/Rheumatology environment preferred. Must have strong knowledge of all medical insurance (including third party insurance experience), understanding of medical terminology Strong customer service skills with a desire to Put Patients First Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; Eagle and Cerner preferred Bi-lingual (Spanish) speaking is preferred.
