Completion of a course of study for Medical Record Technicians approved by the American Medical Record Association and one year experience as a Medical Record Specialist or Medical Record Technician with six months of supervisory experience; or, 3. A certificate issued upon completion of the Correspondence Course for medical record personnel given by the American Medical Record Association plus the experience listed in (2); or, 4. High school graduation or evidence of having passed an examination for the High School Equivalency Diploma or the U.S. Armed Forces G.E.D. certificate with a score of at least thirty-five on each of the five tests and an overall score of at least two-hundred-and-twenty-five in the examination for the certificate and three years experience as a Medical Record Specialist or Medical Record Technician with one year of supervisory experience; or, 5.
