    The OPTUM ONSITE CLINIC CONCIERGE will embody the mission and purpose of the Employee Worksite clinic for UnitedHealth Group. As the first point of contact for the employee at the worksite clinic, the concierge helps employees navigate the healthcare system by scheduling appointments at the onsite clinic, resolving claims and benefits questions, and identifying quality providers in the community and scheduling appointments. The successful applicant will have excellent attention to detail, flexibility, leadership, interpersonal skills, a service - first mindset and a high degree of business acumen.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Answering benefits questions and assistance in claims issues resolution
    • Welcomes employees into the worksite clinic and orients them to the services available
    • Schedule / reschedule onsite clinic appointments and classes
    • Answer clinic calls, emails, walk - ins
    • Administer all clinic paper work for Well and onsite provider group
    • Scan and save all required paper work in shared network
    • Keep track of clinic inventory (office supplies, class materials, clinic stock, etc)
    • Order clinic supplies
    • Stocking of promotional items
    • Resolve Billings / Claims issues
    • Manage clinic flow / provider schedules
    • Send appointment reminder emails for all clinic resources
    • Obtain EAP authorization codes and schedule EAP appointments
    • Coordinate and lead New Hire orientations
    • Deliver Population Health strategic planning and outreach to meet clinic utilization goals
    • Outreach activities including welcome calls and tables for new employees
    • Provide ideas and feedback on marketing materials for better engagement
    • Provides direction to onsite clinic team regarding prioritization of work flow, issue escalation and resolution
    • Delivers clinic tours
    • Provides feedback and direction to the clinic team on areas of improvement resulting in an enhanced guest experience based on NPS
    • Contagious positive attitude that inspires others and models health and wellness
    • Visible resource -- actively participating in worksite events and part of worksite fabric
    • Resource for healthy culture / environment in collaboration with leadership, café vendor, real estate services and site well champ
    • Establishes report and trust with employees and leadership
    • Coordinates wellbeing related communications and marketing at the site (posters, desk drops, etc.)
    • Works closely with well champ and / or wellness committee and engagement committees
    • Plans and executes group event activities at their site (i.e. biometric events, flu shots, health fairs) in collaboration with Human Capital Total Rewards

  • Qualifications

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • College degree or equivalent work experience
    • 1+ years of experience in a service organization, health care / insurance, and / or wellness experience
    • Strong planning and problem - solving skills
    • Proven ability to deliver health education and programming to motivate and engage
    • Self - directed, self - managed, and adaptable
    • Ability to multi task and work with multiple interruptions
    • Strong written / oral communication and interpersonal skills
    • Strong relationship and team building skills
    • Demonstrated ability to speak in front of large groups
    • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
    • Demonstrates ability to develop a level of empathy with people
    • Ability to analyze and interpret data

    • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
    • Strong leadership skills, excellent staff development and team building skills
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • EMR experience
