    Staging Associate/ Warehouse Team Member OnStage Inc - Kent, WA 98031 $16 - $20 an hour Position Title: Staging Associate Reports To: Warehouse Manager Position Status: Non Exempt, Full Time Pay Range: $16.00 - $20.00, DOE Please Include Cover Letter to be considered for the application. Primary Function: The Staging Assistant is responsible for pulling, safe loading, unloading, placement, removal and transportation of our inventory to and from the warehouse and client locations. This position requires the ability to pull, carry and the ability to direct and lead subcontractedmoving crews. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Load, unload, place, remove, and transport our inventory to and from our warehouse and the client locations. Ensures all items are loaded properly and damage free.

    • Ensure the trucks are loaded with all necessary items such as but not limited to: work totes, cleaning supplies, vacuum cleaner, damp mop, bed slats, bed frames/skirts, duvet inserts, king pillows, lamps with correct lamp shades, light bulbs, extension cords, shower rod/curtain/12 rings. * Obtain job site instructions, access codes, contact numbers, and any other pertinent information needed from Project Coordinator in order to complete the job efficiently. * Coordinate staging plan with Designer based on detailed project pull sheets, notes, floorplans, and photos prior to the staging appointment. * Upon arrival to the clients location, inspect and photograph any damage, ensures truck is loaded/unloaded correctly. * Communicate with the Project Coordinator on a daily basis. * Ensure all surfaces are clean, wood surfaces are detailed with furniture pens, cords are wrapped properly, furniture has felt on feet, beds are wrinkle free, carpets are vacuumed, wood floors are damp mopped, couch/accent chair cushions are placed correctly, artwork is not crooked, and individual job site requirements are met. * Upon departure inspects the location to insure everything is clean and damage free, carpets are vacuumed, floors are damp mopped, all wall holes are filled, nothing is left behind, home is secure, key is returned to lockbox. Skills and Knowledge Requirements: * Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions. * Ability to deal with problems involving detailed project pull sheets, notes, floorplans, and photos. * Self Starter who possesses exceptional time management skills and great attention to detail * Basic mathematical skills * Ability to solve practical problems * Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures * Open and thorough communication skills with office staff, and co-workers * Aptitude to manage multiple projects and adhere to deadlines * Passionate, dedicated and ethical * Capacity to manage a team * Maintains punctual, regular and predictable attendance. * Ability to perform essential job duties with or without reasonable accommodation and without posing a direct threat to safety or health of employee or others. Education/ Experience Requirements: * High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certificates, Licenses, Registration: * This position requires a valid drivers license. * Preference: Cleared to maintain and operate up to a 22 box truck Physical Requirements: * The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and infrequently lift and/or move more than 50 pounds. Work Environment: * While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to outdoor weather conditions. The employee is frequently exposed to wet or humid conditions (non-weather). The employee is occasionally exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and work in high, precarious places. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
