    JOB SUMMARY

    Performs necessary administrative role to complete tasks necessary to ensure accurate invoicing and collections communications. Assists in the collections process by performing the following duties.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Maintain collection procedures that reduce the amount of delinquency accounts.
    • Works closely with the appropriate department to adhere to processes and policies that contribute to accurate invoicing.
    • Clean up of unapplied cash, short paid invoices and refunds.
    • Address ongoing customer complaints concerning billing or services rendered and works in complaints with designated departments
    • Monitor daily incoming and outgoing collection calls and emails in attempt to determine reason for overdue balances
    • Mail and email form letters to customers to encourage payment of delinquent accounts.
    • Assist recording information about customer comments and status of collection efforts.
    • Processes credit memos
    • Research & follow up on NSF checks.
    • Works with appropriate department to process change request forms for customer accounts related to address, billing information, claim numbers, etc.
    • Research problems accounts or problem payments.
    • Prepares reports and collector notes for Collection meeting.
    • Invoicing submission to clients of current invoices and statements
    • Processes EOM (end of month) past due statements.
    • Processes EOM audits for invoices submitted to a third party billing system
    • Regular time and attendance.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    • ​​​Minimum of 3 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Requires understanding of Net Suite and Excel knowledge to perform role effectively.
    • Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
    • Ability to analyze, develop, initiate, and implement plans and strategies to achieve goals.
    • Must have excellent computer skills in MS office, and the individual should have knowledge of accounting software, spreadsheet software.
    • Ability to prioritize and meet critical deadlines.
