    Ethicon Robotics and Digital Solutions is focused on redefining medical intervention. By combining advancements in medical robotics, instrumentation, navigation, and data science, RAD is building a platform technology capable of expanding the applicability of robotics to a spectrum of medical procedures.

     

    LIFE AS AN OPERATIONS PROGRAM MANAGEMENT CO-OP:

     

    Operations Program Management plays an integral role within our Supply Chain organization, to connect all our functions that “plan, source, make and deliver” our products. As the Co-op within Operations Program Management, you will be responsible for supporting Program Managers on a significant new product development for surgical robotics. You will partner with a broad group of project leaders to ensure priorities are defined across multiple projects for cross-functional partners, as well as lead projects that drive improvements in supply chain processes. You will ensure that business objectives are met and work closely with Quality and Supply Chain functions in a cross-functional team setting. Reporting to the Operations Program Manager, this person will:

     

    1. Manage day to day program activities for R&D build manufacturing
    2. Lead Supply Chain Readiness activities such as material prioritizations by working closely with R&D/OPs PMs, R&D/NPI Engineers, Production, Planning, Procurement, IQC, and Shipping & Receiving
    3. Execute against manufacturing strategy to prepare supply chain for product launch
    4. Prepare dashboards and/or slides for senior management updates

     

    This role provides real-life hands-on experience, coaching and mentoring, networking opportunities, as well as the opportunity to meet people from various schools throughout the country.     • Spring co-op typical term is January 3, 2022 – June 24, 2022 (dates are flexible), with extended availability preferred
    • Assignment requires on site presence at our manufacturing facility, with work-flex arrangements possible
    • Career mentorship is available with endless networking opportunities within assigned team and beyond

    QUALIFICATIONS

     

    • Candidate must be actively enrolled in an accredited University for the duration of a co-op assignment pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s and/or MBA
    • Minimum GPA of 2.8 is required
    • Completion of Undergraduate Freshmen year at accredited University is required
    • Ability to demonstrate strong analytical and quantitative skills is required
    • Excellent communication, presentation skills and leadership skills are preferred
    • Ability to balance multiple projects and initiatives while executing results
    • Must be a self-starter who works independently while contributing to the team goals
    • Participation in an Engineering Society is desired

     

    Proven leadership/participation with campus programs and/or community service activities is desired
