As a LAUNCH INTERN , you will:

• Gain exposure to and knowledge of the healthcare industry, OptumCare businesses, functions and strategies
• Lead a high-priority, operational and strategic business initiative ( may include travel)
• Learn from and present to Senior Leadership
• Leverage dedicated support and resources, including mentorship
• Benefit from 360-degree feedback
• Contribute to a fun and encouraging cohort

Launch Interns will be based in Eden Prairie, MN - a suburb of Minneapolis.

Upon completion of the program, you may receive an offer for full-time employment as a Launch Apprentice after you graduate.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
• Currently pursuing your MBA with a target graduation date by no later than June 2021
• Minimum 3.00 cumulative GPA
• Ability to work as a summer intern at the Optum Headquarters location in Eden Prairie, Minnesota during the summer of 2020
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization (F-1 students with practical training and candidates requiring H-1Bs, TNs, etc. will not be considered)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Professional work experience (minimum 2 years preferred but not required)
• Passionate about delivering high-quality healthcare to local communities
• Demonstrated leadership ability, with a flair for managing others
• Excellent interpersonal, influencing and communication skills at all levels
• Practiced project management and navigating competing priorities
• Can think strategically, analytically and creatively
• Adaptable and comfortable in ambiguity and high-impact situations
• High emotional intelligence and capacity to GSD (get stuff done)
• Learning/growth oriented
