We are looking for talented individuals to be part of our team. Education/Training High school graduate or equivalent. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word for report writing purposes. Licensure/Certification Valid Florida drivers license and must be insurable under the Orlando Health insurance carriers requirements and standards.(1Security officers, who are unable to maintain this requirement after at least 90 days of employment must sign a No Driving Document which will be maintained in the officers department file and remain in effect until the approval to drive is given by the insurance carriers as determined during routine driving records checks.) Must obtain a State of Florida Class D Security Officer License through the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services within 90 days of hire renewed biannually. Must obtain Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) Certification within 90 days of hire renewed annually. Experience Two (2) years security experience, to include one (1) year supervisory or leadership experience. Essential Functions Maintains confidentiality. Must present a professional demeanor and be able to interface with and provide excellent customer service to a wide range of guests and corporate staff. Interprets laws and policies and procedures and communicate interpretation verbally and in writing. Required to manage emotional situations and customers under extreme stress. Supervises training of new officers and on-going training for current officers. Communicates proper information regarding patient or non-patient needs to peers, subordinates, and staff. Performs periodic and semi-annual reviews of subordinates. Will investigate incidents and complete reports. Manages various personnel functions including hiring, work assignments, coaching plans, and disciplinary actions. Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards. Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures. QUALIFICATIONS:
