Phlebotomy certificate from an accredited school and/or on-the-job phlebotomy training required. * American Society of Clinical Pathologist (ASCP) registration a plus. Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist licensure (or licensure eligible) required. * Two years hospital laboratory experience required. Experience with phlebotomy on neonatal, pediatric, geriatric, adult, trauma and critical patients required. * Experience with laboratory computer system required. Knowledge of medical terminology required. Excellent people skills and customer service skills. Presents a professional appearance. Able to work independently.
