    Primarily responsible for successful administration of the Human Resources Information Systems independently with general direction from more senior staff and management. These systems may include ADP, SilkRoad & others as assigned and includes related reporting and integration.  Develops, implements and maintains the HRIS, makes recommendations for upgrades and system changes. Monitors and audits use of the system to insure data integrity. Develops processes that optimize usability and reporting capabilities of the system.   Provides support to users, creates and generates reports, provides training as necessary to the HR team. Implements upgrades to HR system, insures appropriate testing is completed, problems resolved and HR initiatives are met according to established timetables. Initiates and leads projects that reduce costs, increase productivity and further the business objectives of the Human Resources department. Responsible for procedural documentation and ongoing compliance related tasks within assigned functional area.

    Responsible for compensation functions which includes:

     

    • Assist with the implementation of PayScale Marketpay system

    *Perform ongoing compensation analysis for new and existing jobs

    *Review compensation structures and recommend modifications as necessary

    *Responsible for submitting and updating market surveys data and revising job matches as necessary.

     

    Required Skills

    Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical training required MBA preferred HRIS Related Certification preferred

    8 to 10 years of HRIS or similar experience 3-5 years of experience with ADP's  HCM (or similar product) suite of products 5 to 8 years of experience with HRIS products Advanced knowledge of MS Access and relational database concepts Proficient in MS Word & Excel Excellent organizational and project management skills Compensation experience a plus Experience supporting benefit, pension, compensation and HR applications

     

    Required Experience

    1. Responsible for all ongoing (daily, weekly, monthly, yearly) processing and reporting requirements for HR.

    2. Completes regulatory reporting (EEO, OSHA, DOL, etc) and surveys in a timely manner.

    3. Leads the planning and implementation of new modules of the core or ancillary HRIS systems.

    4. Troubleshoots system problems and analyzes work-arounds without supervision. Liaisons with PR & IT staff as necessary to develop and implement solutions to business & system issues.

    5. High degree of proficiency with ADP and/or HCM products with configuration knowledge of all required modules.

    6. Knowledge of MS Office suite of products including Word, Excel with a high degree of expertise with Access. Ability to utilize these products to develop adhoc queries & reporting as well as data uploads to/from the HRIS system.

    7. Leads the planning, development, implementation, maintenance and evaluation of HRIS products. Maintains an up-to-date understanding of current functionality of these products.

    8. Ability to liaison between various stakeholders, interpret business requirements, recommend alternatives, develop technical solutions, plan and execute the solution implementation.
