CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKER, MSW, SOCIAL SERVICES, WHITTIER; PER DIEM, DAYS
Stamford Hospital is seeking a Full Time Surgical Technician to join our Labor & Delivery unit. The Labor & Delivery Tech will assist the surgical team by acting as the primary scrub person who handles instruments, supplies and other related equipment during surgical procedures. This individual will maintain a sterile environment under the direct supervision of the RN.
Schedule: Night shift, 7pm-7am, every other weekend, rotating holidays
Physical effort characterized as medium work requiring exertion of 20-50 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or 10-25 lbs. frequently. Required working standing for prolonged periods of time, walking, bending, lifting, pushing, reaching and twisting to a significant degree. May also be required to work standing on an elevated platform when necessary.

Required Skills
High School diploma or equivalent required
Graduate of a surgical technologist program or equivalent training
3) Certification as a Surgical Technologist highly preferred
