Janssen R&D, a member of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies, is recruiting a post-doctoral position in the Neuroimmunology group at Janssen, R&D in Spring House, PA to investigate the fundamental mechanisms underlying Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. This position may also involve cross-disciplinary work on inflammation, immunotherapy, and gene therapy. In addition to their primary research project, the post-doc will also have the opportunity to directly participate in research projects that aim to identify and develop therapeutic and preventative countermeasures against neurodegenerative diseases. Recent PhD graduates with a strong background in neuroscience, cell biology, or a related field are encouraged to apply. Prior experience with molecular biology and biochemistry, as well as neurodegenerative disease models, is desired but not required. The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in neuroscience, biochemistry or a related biological field; an excellent track record of publications, including in neurodegenerative disease; and excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
