    We are searching for the best talent for a Packaging Supervisor, 3rd shift for solid dosage form to be in Gurabo, PR!

    Knowledgeable in the supply chain and a process centered organization with responsibility for ensuring integration of tasks/activities and associates across the whole process. Maintains and further vigilance of business rules, credo values, and end state vision. Ensures process align with cGMP’s, safety, and environmental procedures. Employee has internal contact with Department/Area personnel, and other support and service departments. May have external contact with suppliers, contractors, and personnel of other J&J companies.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Development and coordination of production associates to ensure attainment to the business plan and area Key Performance Indicators.

    • Initiates and monitors process deviations records.

    • Provides mentorship and coach associates on the supply chain process.

    • Works with the different support departments and Resources to troubleshoot and resolve process and technical problems.

    • Ensure the cleaning and preparation of packaging equipment.

    • Monitors and measure process performance and implementing corrective actions.

    • Responsible for the orderly flow across shift to the next.

    Qualifications

    Education:

    • A minimum of bachelor’s degree is required. Focused degree in Science, Pharmacy, Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields is preferred.

    Experience and Skills:

    Required:

    • At two (2) years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry

    • Knowledge of safety, environmental and labor procedures

    • Knowledge of cGMP’s and compliance

    • Proficient in Spanish and English (i.e., excellent ability to write in English and Spanish)

    • Able to exercise judgment on the resolution of production problems to meet company standards for quality, cost, and critical success factors

    • Excellent organizational, management, and people development skills

    • Use of interpersonal and collaboration skills to build interdependent partnerships

    Preferred:

    • Team leadership experience

    • Proficient in the use of MS Office applications: Word, Excel, Power Point, and Internet

    • Experience preparing effective presentations to employees and management. Working in teams and independently. Making decisions and work with precision at a fast pace

    Other:

    • This position will support 3rd shift operations (10:00pm - 6:30am)

    • Ability to work various schedules, which may include first, second, and third shifts and/or 12-hour daily shifts, including weekends and holidays is required

    • Requires ability to occasionally lift or carry objects up to 10 pounds in weight
