Program Specialist - Bert Muller Home PARC, Inc - Saint Petersburg, FL Position Summary: To assist the QDDP in coordinating the habilitation process for 16 residents, through coordinating, monitoring, organizing and planning in accordance with the Federal and State Standards, ICF/DD guidelines, along with PCA philosophy, policies and procedures. Serve as an Interdisciplinary Team member. Assure that individuals are provided with an individual plan of care along with active treatment programming specific to their needs. Supervise the floor staff and work as a team member with all disciplines. Serve as an advocate for the residents at BMH/PCA and a liaison to the families and guardians. Qualifications: * High School Diploma or GED required. * Degree from an accredited university preferred. * At least one year experience working directly with individuals with developmental disabilities. * Previous supervisory experience. * Ability to obtain and maintain PARC approved verbal, defensive and control procedures, CPR, and First Aid certifications. * Ability to obtain and maintain Class D and PARC drivers licenses. * Able to lift up to 30 pounds. Must be able to pass a Level II criminal background screen and a pre-employment drug screen.
