Job Summary Come join us at The Learning Experience – Dallas Frankford, where our mission is to make a difference in the lives of children, their families, and the community we serve.

We are looking for a Substitute Teacher to join our team on an as-needed basis. This position is not full-time and offers a flexible schedule based on the center’s staffing needs. You’ll step into classrooms to support our teachers when they are out, ensuring continuity of care and learning for our children.

Responsibilities

Step into classrooms across all age groups (Infants, Toddlers, Preschool) as needed.

Follow lesson plans and daily routines provided by lead teachers or center management.

Maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for all children.

Supervise and care for children, ensuring their well-being at all times.

Communicate and collaborate effectively with staff and families.

Support classroom transitions, activities, meals, and cleanup as needed.

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma (required) Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (preferred).

Experience: Previous experience working in a childcare or educational setting is highly preferred.

Skills: Excellent communication, organization, time management and interpersonal skills, patience, creativity, and a passion for working with young children.

Certifications: CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
