Pediatric Clinical Pharmacist Specialist, FT Rotating
The Pediatric Clinical Pharmacist Specialist provides comprehensive pharmaceutical care to pediatric patients of El Paso Children's Hospital through integrated drug distribution, clinical services, research and teaching. Essential Duties/Responsibilities The major job responsibilities of this position are pharmaceutical care to pediatric patients in assigned areas of the hospital dependent upon departmental needs and organization, drug distribution support, clinical intervention, investigational drug studies, research, teaching and pharmacy representation on pediatric committees.

License/Registration/Certification:
Current Licensed Pharmacist in the State of Texas.
Preceptor competent within one year of hire, for existing employees within one year of signing job description.
Pediatric Advance Life Support (PALS) within 6 months of hire; for existing employees, within 6 months of signing job description
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire; for existing employees, within 6 months of signing job description
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 6 months of hire; for existing employees, within 6 months of signing job description
NRP; may obtain within 6 months of hire
