Position Description : The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for executing all marketing communication aspects for strategic areas within UPHS as assigned, as well as assist Marketing Directors and Coordinators with projects. Key responsibilities include the following: Assist Director and Coordinator for Marketing Communications with projects as assigned. Execute all marketing communication aspects for strategic areas within UPHS as assigned. Special projects as necessary, such as, but not limited to, planning, coordination and implementation of promotional events, special openings and seminars related to strategic areas. Coordinate and execute tactics, including writing, editing and coordination of promotional materials, collateral, physician and practice announcements and blogs. Ad and web copy development as required. Support for health fairs and screenings, staffing and logistics for those arranged by department and/or entity, providing materials to other areas in UPHS for their health fair participation. Assist with special projects, including a range of activities such as obtaining information from other departments or outside related to services, faculty. Conduct research for special projects, as requested by Marketing. Responsible for recruitment, project assignment and supervision of interns. Communicate performance evaluations to supervisors at their educational institution. Manages the implementation of digital campaigns and results reporting for assigned service lines. Management and processing of jobs in EZ Projects including tracking and processing of invoices related to project expense. Assisting with other support functions where necessary, such as preparing information packets or materials needed for displays or presentations. Minimum Requirements : Minimum Degree Requirements and Experience Required: BS or BA required, preferably in Marketing, Communications, English or related field. At least 3 years of Marketing or related experience; healthcare preferred. Must have project management experience and writing background. Skill Requirements: Strong writing skills are essential. Multi-tasks well and is very well organized. Strong communications skills are essential. Initiative and good judgment are important.
