The Ancillary Clerk at Petersburg Medical Center deals with a multitude of duties in Admissions and Screening. The Clerk does registration for patients needing labs, Covid screenings or imaging tests - greets and meets patients, handles phones and computer data entry. Some of the duties include: general clerical tasks (answering and making phone calls, copying, filling), general reception tasks (welcoming and working with patients, scheduling procedures, directing guests), and working with medical records. Screening duties include: screening all individuals that enter the facility and stock inventory forms, information and testing vouchers, checking documentation, assisting all individuals in the screening and swabbing process, providing general information about Covid-19. Perform other duties as assigned.
The Ancillary Clerk works extensively on the computer and with the public. The Clerk reports to the Lead Ancillary Patient Coordinator.

Must be flexible to be able to work days and weekends as needed. Must be willing and able to comply with all safety procedures and job-specific training. Adherence to the PMC Code of Conduct and excellent teamwork skills are a must.
