As a Pharmacy Clerk, you'll be responsible for assisting with the purchasing and procurement of medications while ensuring a high level of customer service and maximized productivity. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Open and process all c-tag/carrier return packages.
• Process and categorize returned orders into IRIS.
• Know correct handing procedures of medications.
• Answer questions from front end technicians about returns.
• Make sure all payments or any paperwork is routed to mailroom to be processed.
• Research, categorize, and resolve backorders with wholesaler.
• Ensure Contract Logs and BPA's are up to date and accurate.
• Identify and work conversions to support pharmacy operations.
• Validates and sends PO's to wholesaler.
• Review, validate, and correct wholesaler PO discrepancies.
• Any other duties required by Supervisor.

This role is equally challenging and rewarding. You'll need to work within multiple computer systems simultaneously as you respond to questions or provide specific medication details/clinical information. It's a fast paced, high volume environment where our members are counting on us to deliver these important, sometimes life-saving medications in an accurate and efficient manner.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma / GED or higher
• Proficiency with computer and Windows PC applications including ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds routinely
• Ability to work at minimum an eight hour shift within the hours of 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM, Monday - Friday with mandatory overtime including weekends as needed.
