  • Responsibilities

    Demonstrates basic knowledge of pediatric growth and development, recognizes deviations from the norm, has competency in administering a variety of assessment tools/therapy techniques for the age groups he/she serves. Recognizes limitations and seeks guidance when appropriate. Participates in ongoing continuing education and to enhance clinical skills. Actively supports department and hospital goals and mission statements. Works collaboratively with other disciplines within the department and key professionals within the hospital and community. Complies with all requirements for legal practice determined by state license board. Works with Physical Therapy Assistants with appropriate supervision and documentation collaboration and co-signatures. Conducts weekly supervisory meeting to review patient issues and changes to plans of care and reviews plans of care for any changes or updates to goals.

    Department Specific Job Details:

    Experience:

    • 2 -5 years of experience in orthopedic preferred (pediatric experience beneficial)

    Certification/Licensure:

    • Physical Therapy License in the State of Ohio is required

    Education Requirements:

    Masters, Physical Therapy (Required)

    Certification/License Requirements:

    CPR, Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation - American Heart Association, PT Ohio - Ohio Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Athletic Trainers
