Position Highlights:

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM. Closed on weekends and major holidays.
• On-Call Rotation: One week every four weeks, with triaged calls; only urgent cases are transferred to the on-call provider.
• Technology: Utilize the E-Clinical Works (eCW) EMR system.
• Training: Multi-modality approach with a focus on patient-centered care. Internal medicine experience preferred, but not required.
• Work-Life Balance: Supportive culture promoting professional and personal well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough patient history, physical exams, and assessments.
• Document patient interactions accurately in EMR.
• Build strong rapport with patients and their families, ensuring clear communication about progress and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to deliver excellent care.
• Work independently with strong clinical judgment and organizational skills.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Valid Texas PA license in good standing.
• Controlled Substance Registration and DEA Certification.
• Strong clinical, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
