    HR Shared Services Coordinator JOB PURPOSE: Provides customer service to all Piedmont Healthcare employees, executives, and physicians. Assists Human Resources with projects, communications, benefit enrollment, PeopleSoft Employee Self Service and Manager Self Service. Coordinates implementation of services, policies and programs through Human Resources staff; partners with Center of Excellence and Operations to respond to HR issues and requests in a timely manner. Supports the efficient functioning of HR Operations. Responsible for executing project-level communications plans and strategies. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Responds to calls, emails, and all customer requests timely and accurately. 2. Function as the HR liaisons' point of contact for business requests and problem resolution. 3. Manages and triages responses to HR Operations inquiries and escalating more complex questions and issues to the appropriate Center of Excellence or HR Operations team member. 4. Assists employees and managers with PeopleSoft ESS and MSS functions. 5. Assists employees with payroll questions with ability to analyze paychecks and request adjustments to pay or calculate and request benefit premium credits. 6. Analyze queried reports for HR Operations and external vendors as required. 7. Assist employees with benefit eligibility questions, benefit plan descriptions, COBRA requests, leave of absence policies and procedures, and open and close qualifying events for benefit changes. 8. Assist employees with benefit enrollment processes or forms to ensure accuracy. 9. Serve as liaison and employee advocate between employee and benefit plan carriers. 10. Maintain employee call/email log including timeline for completion and resolution status. 11. Manage and support HR operational projects as assigned. 12. Provide support for new hire and annual benefit enrollment meetings. 13. Assists HR Operations in maintaining data integrity in the Human Resource Management System and other applications relating to Time Management and Performance Management. 14. Responsible for accurately processing HR-related information with confidentiality. 15. Provide input and recommendations on process improvements and development supporting innovation and efficiency. MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED: High school diploma or GED MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 1 year of Human Resources related experience and 2 years of customer service, payroll, or other relevant service experience. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office including MS Word, Excel and Power Point. Must demonstrate exceptional customer service skills with the ability to provide support to employees, executives, and physicians. Must possess above average organizational, administrative, verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills, accountable for owning customer calls and follow through to complete resolution of requests. Collaborative and capable of communication with all departments within Piedmont Healthcare. MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW: None. ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors degree is preferred. PeopleSoft ESS and MSS customer service support, PeopleSoft super-user experience is preferred. A strong HR background is required, a focus on benefit plan administration preferred. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES Skill and ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in-writing. Skill and ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines. Ability to work as a member of a team.
