Johnson & Johnson Vision is currently recruiting for a Biostatistics Postdoctoral Associate in Jacksonville, FL and may require up to 10% domestic travel.

PROGRAM COMPONENTS

In this role, you will take the lead statistical role on several clinical trials by providing study design expertise via protocol developments, sample size calculations, randomization, and the development of statistical analysis plans (SAP). You will also partake in the development and implementation of novel statistical methods and study designs for observational and experimental studies.

You will be responsible in conducting statistical analysis and inference, writing and presenting reports summarizing findings in support of product development. You will collaborate with SAS programmer analysts to generate tables, listings and figures and derived datasets that summarize results for clinical trials. We ensure all of our efforts meet company objectives and satisfy regulatory, GCP, and ICH requirements and guidelines.

• Ph.D. in Biostatistics, Statistics or Applied Mathematics
• Preference for expertise in Bayesian methods and observational data analysis
• Preference for knowledge of longitudinal analysis, machine learning, and bioinformatics methods; and  experience in analyzing clinical trials data.
• Excellent analytical skills are required.
• Experience in statistical programming with SAS/R/Python.
• It is imperative for you to have the ability to effectively communicate with a multi-disciplinary project team, work independently and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail, quality and accuracy are required.
