Johnson & Johnson Vision a member of Johnson and Johnson's Family of Companies, is recruiting for a Postdoctoral Fellow in Global Medical Affairs and will focus on the integrated evidence management behind our products. The duration of the Postdoctoral Fellow program is 2 years.  

We are seeking a highly motivated, conscientious and diligent clinician or scientist, who is flexible, dynamic, and able to work with autonomy to drive integrated evidence generation and dissemination planning and execution and connect it to impacts to customers while also contributing to the group as an integral team member. The Postdoctoral Fellow will:

-    Be responsible for the claim substantiation process for assigned JJV products and platforms. -    Partner with cross-functional project teams to drive integrated evidence generation and dissemination plan for new product development and post launch evidence needs. -    (Co)publish peer-reviewed medical journal articles and abstract as well as internal documents that involve evidence of JJV product and relevant disease state. -    Attend and present at optometric and ophthalmic conferences, representing JJV as a medical expert. -    Serve as a medial reviewer for copy clearance. -    Respond to off-label questions from ECPs. -    Act as medical science liaison when needed in-field, supporting consultative sales teams.

QUALIFICATIONS

-    Candidates must have a recent or expected Doctorate Degree (e.g., OD, MD, Ph.D.) in optometry, ophthalmology, life sciences, or relevant field. The relevant degree must have been obtained or the applicant must currently be a candidate for their degree to be completed by date of hire to be considered. -    Experience directly managing relationships (external or internal) in a partnership model required. -    Strong written and oral communication skills are required. -    Strong analytical skills and an understanding of statistical methods for data analysis required. -    Experience in scientific/medical writing skills are required. -    A strong alignment with ethical principles in Our Credo and a desire to be vital within a company where people care about patients and want to make a difference in global healthcare is essential. -    This position is located in Jacksonville FL or Irvine CA and may require up to 15% travel.
