The Postdoctoral Fellow within Analytical Characterization R&D develops, optimizes, validates and transfers a variety of analytical methods with general direction and in accordance with department procedures. In this position, you will recognize, diagnose, and correct instrument and method problems for various analytical techniques.
The Postdoctoral Fellow also collaborates with outside researchers to bring together both outside and internal expertise and identifies new technologies to help keep the group current. You will represent Analytical Characterization R&D on project teams and presents data within the department and/or project team with appropriate level of statistical analysis. You will also initiate and write technical reports with general supervisory input.
This is a two-year fellowship role with the possibility of extension or conversion to a full-time role based on performance and business need.

The anticipated base pay for this position is $95,000 but will be based on candidate’s program year, discipline, degree and/or experience. This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus.
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year.
