**THIS FULL-TIME INTERN POSITION WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR A 6 (SIX)-WEEK DURATION BETWEEN JUNE AND AUGUST. UNITEDHEALTH GROUP IS NOT ABLE TO OFFER VISA SPONSORSHIP NOW OR IN THE FUTURE FOR THIS POSITION

RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Intern will be given exposure to a variety of jobs that utilize a legal degree within the Optum LCRA function
• For example, intern will work with individuals in one or more of the following functional areas during the 6-week internship: Compliance, Privacy, Policy, Regulatory Affairs, Litigation, various contracting functions and exposure to work supporting one or more of our business segments (OptumRx, OptumInsights or Optum HealthCare)
• Generally, the intern would spend up to a week working in one of the above legal functions
• Specific responsibilities will depend on the particular function referenced above but tasks would generally involve utilizing both analytical, as well as written and oral communication skills

You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree from an accredited college / university during the duration of the internship. Internships are not intended for graduating seniors
• Intern has demonstrated desire to pursue a law degree
• Minimum 3.00 cumulative GPA
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization (F-1 students with practical training and candidates requiring H-1Bs, TNs, etc. will not be considered)
