Scheduling Description Position Summary This position supports the
mission of Presbyterian/St Lukes Medical Center of optimizing the
quality of life of all those served by expanding beyond the traditional
focus on medical needs to the needs of the whole person. The
Administrative Assistant performs assigned tasks and activities that
include functions such as: * Computer work and data entry * filing *
mailings * answering the phone and maintaining accuracy in written
messages * greeting visitors to department and determining service needs
- copying * scanning * compiling reports * other duties as assigned by

Licensure/Certification/Registration: N/A Education: High School diploma
or equivalent. BA or BS in business/communications or related field
preferred Experience: At least three to five years experience as an
administrative assistant. Computer proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint
and other computer programs as needed) and typing skills (55
words/minute with accuracy). Special Qualifications: * Must possess
excellent communication skills with all levels of staff. * Must have a
customer service focus and have the ability to assess information, apply
critical thinking processes to determine a course of action, and relay
this information intelligently to the appropriate party. * Must possess
clear and concise documentation skills. * Must have the ability to
maintain confidentiality of information. * Must possess strong
organizational and people skills. * Must be a good team player. Degree
of Supervision Required: Involves general guidance and direction by the
director. Employee will be expected to perform most job duties
independently and in accordance with established department policies and
