    JOB SUMMARY:

    Reporting to a Planning Manager, the Planning CO-OP is responsible for generating business reports to support core team responsibilities, perform data compilation and analysis, attend business meetings, and provide support to basic business processes, as requested.

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Under direct supervision and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:
    • Execute tasks to create and publish assigned reports
    • Troubleshooting of data source system issues that impact assigned reports.
    • Asset reconfiguration and recreation of reports as necessary.
    • Data analysis of business decision making and metrics generation.
    • Work with various functions within division to defin e and implement improvement opportunities to increase efficiency and improve customer service.
    • Assist in preparation of reports and presentations.
    • Assist with maintaining departmental files and ongoing resource maintenance.
    • Complete required training.
    • Comply with all environmental, safety and occupational health policies. (i.e., ISO14001 & OSHAS18001)
    • Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures
    • Performs other dut ies assigned as needed .

    Qualifications

    EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

    • Currently enrolled and in good standing in a reputable program working towards a degree in in Business Administration, Materials Management,or bachelor’s in sciences with Major in Engineering.
    • 3 years of college study completed.
    • No Prior work experience is required, but current education or extracurricular activity experiences should demonstrate capabilities meet required skills set.

    REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES and AFFILIATIONS

    • Requires fluency in Spanish and English; must have excellent ability to write in English and Spanish.
    • Proficient in MS office programs: Word, Excel, Power Point, Project Planning, E-mail, Flow Charts,and management of database tools.
    • Ability to assess issues and opportunities, establish priorities, and act with a sense of urgency.
    • Analytical problem-solving skills, project, creative capacity,and technical skills
    • Able to take direction well, set priorities and achieve results
    • Proven ability to quickly learn and apply complex applications
    • Strong interpersonal abilities
    • Understanding of basic business concepts in assigned area

    Additional skills that might be relevant are:

    • Applied principles of research, concept generation, presentation
    • Has knowledge of statistics, machine learning, data mining and predictive analytics.
    • Ability to apply project and personal leadership to successfully achieve project, team,and individual goals.
    • Ability to target their communications as appropriate for the audience and make presentations to a small to medium sized audience
