    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    As a Producer Help Desk Analyst intern you will leverage your analytical and critical thinking skills to enhance the overall experience of sales support representatives and sales agents into a career with UnitedHealth Group. As a member of the PRODUCER HELP DESK TEAM, you will be engaged with cross collaborative partners working to implement and/or improve process, as well as remove hassle for the department which impacts sales support team members and sales agents. In this exciting position you will use pertinent data and facts to identify and solve a range of problems. You will do this by collecting relevant information from a myriad of systems, analyzing the data and presenting solutions to various different stakeholders.

    • Use pertinent data and facts to identify and solve a range of problems
    • Investigate non-standard requests and problems, with some assistance from others
    • Prioritize and organize own work to meet deadlines
    • Provide explanation and information to others on process improvement initiatives
    • Collect relevant information by pulling and analyzing data from multiple systems
    • Use relevant data to make fact based decisions
  • Qualifications

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university during the duration of the internship. Internships are not intended for graduating seniors.
    • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization (F-1 students with practical training and candidates requiring H-1Bs, TNs, etc. will not be considered)

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Rising Senior status during the summer of 2020
    • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and SharePoint
    • Minimum 3.00 cumulative GPA
