  • Responsibilities

    You will work closely with Nomad’s Product team to 1) design and implement a flexible quality assurance process, and 2) product and business analysis investigations and support.

    Responsibilities:

    • Define and track test cases across all areas of our product.
    • Work through new product features to define testing before launch.
    • If you are a software engineer: Write unit tests to cover defined test cases.
    • Research and implement solution for cross-browser testing.
    • Run test cases on a recurring and/or as-needed basis.
    • Run exploratory testing for bug discovery.
    • Product and business analytics investigations
    • Will require learning Nomad’s underlying data architecture

    These responsibilities are good stepping stones to a career in product management or other quantitative field. Past Nomad product interns have gone into finance, software engineering, and product management.

    This internship is a minimum 20 hours per week commitment for the summer of 2018.

    • You are a self-motivated go-getter who is very analytical and detail oriented.
    • Ideally you have a background in software engineering, previous exposure to product development, product management, or QA.
    • You are eager to work in a changing, high-growth startup.
