Description
PERC (Partnership for Equitable and Resilient Communities) is a justice venture on a mission to transform public funding and investment practices toward equitable development. For t oo long, the decision-making processes for public infrastructure investments have excluded Black, Indigenous, Latino, and Hmong/Southeast Asian people living in low-wealth, under-resourced communities. As a result, long standing racial disparities in access to education, employment, wealth, housing choice, and economic opportunity persist, and the systems that led to the disparities in the first place are further entrenched. In order to reimagine an equitable future in which Black, Indigenous, Latino, and Hmong/Southeast Asian people have the resources they need to thrive, PERC looked closely at how public dollars have been distributed in the past, and we completely flipped that process on its head.
This position’s main responsibility is to provide administrative support to the PERC Saint Paul Project Manager, to whom she/he reports.
